Entry Requirement

Students passing 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, Agriculture with English or Hindi as subject is the minimum requirement for admission to B.Sc.(Ag.) Hons. degree course. Admission to ICAR candidates is given as per the rules of the university. Reservation rules are applicable for SC, ST, OBC, female, physically handicapped, freedom fighter, special tribes, naxal affected family and the candidates of other categories as per notified norms of the state government time to time. The selection of students is made through the merit list of Pre-Agriculture Test (PAT). The test is being conducted by the State Professional Examination Board (CGVYAPAM). The certificate in this regard needs to be compulsorily submitted at the time of counseling. Student must not be below the age of 17 years on 31st December of the admission year.
