About Library

The College Librarystands as a vital centre of knowledge, supporting and enriching the teaching–learning process of the institution. Established in 2019 along with the college. The library located at the first floor of the college campus in North-west corner of this building. The Carpet area of the library is nearly spread across 1,408 square feet, the library is well-ventilated, naturally illuminated, and comfortably furnished, creating a reader-friendly environment. With a seating capacity of about 40 users, it is partially automated and designed to meet the academic needs of students and faculty alike. Assistant librarian post is filled. The library has grown into a well-equipped academic support system, fully automated with Koha Integrated Library Management Software (v22.05.03). It provides seamless access to both print and digital resources for knowledge boosting.

College Library

Our library is automated through Koha 22.05 Integrated Library Management Software. In house routine library activities performed Via Koha. In-Out Management, Instant e-mail massaging service, Online purchase suggestions are the part of this library. The library remains open from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM on all working days except government holidays. • In addition to resources and services, the library emphasizes user engagement and academic enrichment through various activities. Book exhibitions were organized in 2023 and 2025, while orientation and hands-on training programs were conducted in 2025 to guide students in accessing e-resources effectively. The library also facilitated an educational visit to IARI Central Library, New Delhi, providing students with exposure to national-level research facilities.

Library At A Glance

The library currently houses 1410 printed books, five ICAR periodicals, and three agriculture-related magazines, in addition to offering remote access to over 1600 e-books and more than 2967 e-journals through the Consortium for e-Resources in Agriculture (CeRA) via J-Gate. To strengthen digital access, users can also explore databases and repositories such as Knimbus, DOAB, DOAJ, DOAR, Krishikosh, Indian Journals.com, Science Direct, Pearson, Astral, Videeya, and ASAP Globe. From January 2025, access under the national initiative One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) will further enrich the e-resource base with journals from 30 leading international publishers.
